Student Service Learning (SSL)

Students in Maryland must complete 75 hours of service learning in order to receive a high school diploma. Student Service Learning (SSL) is a method of practical education that links academic learning with student service to benefit the community. Service-learning projects must include academic preparation, service activities and structured reflection.

Please listen to the announcements and check the bulletin board outside the Counseling Office for more SSL opportunities. Additionally, opportunities are posted in each student’s respective Google Classroom for their grade level.
